Our Motto: Inspiration and Participation
Venue: Odd Fellows Hall, Corvallis
Free & Open to the Public
Our inspiring featured artist for this meeting is Portland Oregon’s Jessie McCann. Jesse is an award-winning classical guitarist who made his debut at age 17 on the gulf coast of Mississippi, winning first place in a number of local and regional guitar competitions. In addition to being a top prize solo winner, he has led two award-winning guitar trios and is currently a member of the Oregon Guitar Quartet. Jesse is currently on staff for PSU and PCC’s music faculty.
The October 7th meeting will also include our OPEN GUITAR ENSEMBLE REHEARSAL for the music we will be performing at the Winter Concert on December 14th at the Corvallis-Benton County Library. The music is posted to the website below: ensemble music scores and parts for guitar society meeting … so check out the scores online, download the parts you would like to play and bring them along to the meeting with your guitar and join in! EVERYONE is welcome and the scores include parts suitable for all levels of playing.
