Dear Friends of the Corvallis Guitar Society,
Thank you to those who turned out for the last meeting of the Guitar Society on March 7th. We had a lot of fun entertaining ourselves with some good ensemble pieces (I detect some real progress here) and a solid open stage session. Anne echoed the strains of the ensemble’s rendition of Santa Lucia by performing it beautifully on the smallest guitar we have seen to date 🙂

Dear Friends of the Corvallis Guitar Society,
I am excited to announce that rehearsals for the Corvallis Guitar Society (CGS) Guitar Orchestra and Ensembles will begin this month. Rehearsals will take place on the 3rd and 4th Monday of each month at Gracewinds music from 7:00pm to 8:30pm (3rd Floor, rear entrance) with the goal of holding a concert in the second half of the year. If you are interested, please let me know and I will be happy to answer any questions you may have. If there is anyone out there with an acoustic or contra-bass guitar and you would like to be part of the orchestra then I would be happy to hear from you! If you would like to know more or review some of the music we will be playing, please check out the website:

Dear Friends of the Corvallis Guitar Society,
We have just passed our first year anniversary and enjoyed a year of more music, open stage performances and guest artists than we dreamed possible when we began this venture. So let’s look forward to what we have in store for the coming year.
The Board has established two objectives which are:
- Bring local guitarists out of the woodwork
- Grow the Corvallis Guitar Society through education and awareness programs and through service to the local community
